It took me forever to slog though them, but Apex has published my reviews of the Hugo nominees for Best Novelette. Novelettes are… long. So, maybe I’m saving you some time, here.
It was an interesting read, Charlotte (your review, I mean), so I took a run at “The Day…” as a result, and enjoyed it.
I also opened my mouth and inserted a foot in the comments, though, since I assumed that (because all the source magazines are recognisable names and not obscure spin-offs from VD’s Sci-Fi Publishing Playhouse) this category escaped puppification…
Ah well. Looking a little foolish in public has sort of been my thing ever since I started waxing my moustache!
You didn’t make a fool of yourself, so you’re good! 😉 But I’m glad you found my critique “rigorous” anyway…
