Read: 2012

I won’t lie to you: this year I have a baby and a pre-schooler at home with me, both of whom take umbrage to my doing much reading. I catch a patch here or there during naps and while nursing, but I anticipate this will be a slow year. Nevertheless, I’m sure I’ll read a thing or two, and here’s what I’ve read (so far) in 2012. Links lead to reviews or discussions on my blog!

Prisoner of Tehran by Marina Nemat
The Game by Ken Dryden
Juliet Stories by Carrie Snyder
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel
Laura by George Sand
Naked in the Marketplace by Benita Eisler
An Unsuitable Job for a Woman by P.D. James
The Pale Horseman by Bernard Cornwell
The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell
The Man in the Wooden Hat by Jane Gardam
Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
REAMDE by Neal Stephenson
Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy
Kristen Lavransdotter (The Wreath) by Sigurd Ungen
Kitchen Party by Sheryl Kirby
Indian Horse by Richard Wagamese

(Check out, if you like, what I read in 2011, 2010 and 2009.)
